Frequently asked questions about returns, refunds and Cancellation

What can I return? 

You may request returns for most items you buy from smjshop.com that are within the return window, except those that are explicitly identified as not returnable on the product detail page and/or

Items are returnable if you've received them in a condition that is physically damaged, has missing parts or accessories, defective or different from its description on the product detail page on smjshop.com Returns policy.

What are the return guidelines? 

Following are the return guidelines: 

  1. Your address and the item that you wish to return must be eligible for return. 

  2. If the return is not eligible for Pickup, a Self-Return option will be given. 

  3. Once the return is received, you will, in accordance with smjshop.com Refund Policy, be issued a refund to your original payment method. 

For Pay on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed to your bank account.

 

Refund Policy

Once we receive your return or our team notifies us of receipt of return, as the case may be, a refund is issued to the original payment method (in case of pre-paid transactions) or to your bank account (in case of Pay on Delivery orders).

When will I get my refund?

Following are the refund processing timelines after receipt of the returned item(s):

If the standard time-frame as mentioned in the above table has expired and you have still not received the refund, please contact your credit or debit card issuer or your bank for more information. Refunds will not be processed in cash. Refunds can be processed via paper cheque only in exceptional cases.



Cancel Items or Orders

You can cancel items or orders by visiting the Your Orders section in Your Account

To cancel items that aren't dispatched yet:

  • Go to Your Orders

  • Select the item you want to cancel and click Cancel items

Note: You can also contact our team to place a cancellation request. Your order will be cancelled instantly and a refund will be processed to your original payment method, if the payment was already made. 

If your order has already been dispatched: Select the Request cancellation option and the item(s) will be returned to us for a refund (if the payment is already made). In case you're still contacted for delivery, please refuse to accept it.

If your order is already delivered: You may consider returning it.
